The National Sicilian American Foundation is
a non-profit international organization, committed to serving the
community and educating the public about Sicilian culture. In 1997, our
President, Frank Bonfiglio started this foundation and has worked very
hard to create a place where one can find "Equality and Unity with
Dignity", our foundation motto.
We invite you to share our Sicilian heritage
through cultural and social events and exchanges. Personally get to
know us, learn more by attending and participating in our many events,
i.e., photo exhibits, speaker presentations, quarterly newsletter and
homemade Italian-Sicilian dishes.
National and international exchanges with
other organizations help us to reach many Americans, with or without
Sicilian heritage, find the social and professional connections to
succeed in life.
We are very proud of our members because
they have given the gift of love and caring through their donations of
money, time and service. Senior citizens have enjoyed our monthly
sing-a-longs, and needy children and families in our community have
benefited greatly from the many donations and fund-raising events we
have given for them.
Championed by President Frank Bonfiglio and
N.S.A.F. Officers, Directors and dedicated members, they collaborate
with many Italian organizations such as the Instituto Italiano di
Cultura; The Museo Italo Americano; and Sicilia Mondo, as well as the
Italian Consul General.
