We are the “National Sicilian American Foundation”, a non-profit organization that our president Franco Bonfiglio founded in 1997, and that has gained immediately the affection of a lot of members, both Sicilians and not, all around the world.

We love Italy, but we have a real and genuine passion for Sicily.

We were very sorry to hear about Sicily only in terms of its problems and not for all its trasures: the beautiful environment, the rich and dense history, the art and culture that found  in this land a perfect cradle, the personalities of grand stature that were born there.

For this reason we created this association to share with persons like you, friend, what is dearest to us.

How do we address this goal?

We have a lot of fantasy, enthusiasm and ideas, so to spread the Sicilian culture we organize cultural and social events as exibits, concerts, dinners, and also travel for vacation or study (we also excenges between Sicily and USA).

We try not to be blind to the social problems we see next to us every day: our events are also addressed to benefit the needy.

We have a saying, simple and frank: “Equality and unity with dignity”.

We are very happy to see that the image of Sicily, thanks also to the help of association like ours, is improving and is gaining more and more friends.

To offer more opportunities to our members, we have good contact with the General Consulate of Italy and with other Sicilian and Italian associations, in particular with the “Istituto Italiano di Cultura”, il “Museo Italo-Americano”  and “Sicilia Mondo”.
