From The President's Desk:

Dear members and friends of the N.S.A.F.:

I sincerely hope that all of you are in good health. On August 29th at the Sheraton Hotel in Burlingame the N.S.A.F. elected a new board of directors. Their names are listed on the left side of this page. I do wish them the best, welcome aboard!!

Of the many activities that have or will take place in the remaining 2004 I can especially mention that the "Founders Night" evening was a great event. Once again I want to thank the Consul General Francesco Sciortino for making it possible and of course my good friend and honorary member of N.S.A.F., Alessandro Baccari for his incomparable diligence in conducting the event. A very special thanks to our gracious mayor Gavin Newsom for his proclamation in making May 14th a day in San Francisco for the National Sicilian American Foundation. In this I must recognize our First Vice President Giovanna Rovetti, thank you. There are so many others that I should thank, to name a few: Joe Brucia, Marco Fuoco for his incredible "bronze trinacria" which he donated to N.S.A.F. - My old friend Tom Vano for having provided the most comprehensive photographic coverage and also donated his services, thanks Tom.

Thanks to our Vice President Rosa Passanisi, to all board members, officers past and present, and Sara Scorsonelli, recipient of the outstanding member award.

Thanks to all our members and donors, you are doing an incredible job.
